Stitch is pleased to continue its support of Habitat for Humanity. We are entering our third year of a successful program. In the last two years YOU have contributed over $12,000 to this worthy cause. Participation is easy. You don't even need a hammer!
Donate two handmade, heartmade ornaments to the campaign at any one of the Festivals. Ornaments need not be needlework...quilting, crochet, woodworking, stenciling... we welcome all! Half of the ornaments will be placed for sale for $5 plus local tax. All proceeds go to the Habitat office in each Festival city, who will then give the remaining ornaments to Habitat home dwellers.
Bring you ready-to-hang ornaments to the "Home Sweet Habitat Home" display, located at the Merchandise Mall (Fri-Sun).
Shopping is a great tradition of the Festival. So be sure to shop often at the Habitat display. Ornaments are constantly being dropped off so don't miss the one just meant for you!
